- The Freshwater Gallery - the focus is on, how freshwater habitats in South America compare to the river systems of New England, and features piranhas, Atlantic salmon, electric eels and anacondas.
- The “Thinking” Gallery - this has rare sea dragons, coastal environments, the goliath grouper and thousands of schooling fish.
- The “Edge of the Sea” tidepool - visitors can touch New England tidepool animals that include sea urchins, sea stars, hermit crabs, horseshoe crabs and snails.
- The Tropical Gallery - you can find colorful tropical fish, venomous fish, cuttlefish and living corals here.
- The Northern Waters of the World Gallery - it focuses on how the marine habitats of New England compares to that of the Pacific Northwest.
- The Aquarium Medical Center - this gives a view of what is involved in taking care of numerous animals.
