Atlanta Georgia Aquarium: The Georgia Aquarium has been newly constructed in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. It is considered to be the “ world’s largest aquarium”. The Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta features 100,000 to 120,000 fish and other sea creatures. Tanks holding approximately 8 million gallons of water have more than 500 species. Besides local specimens, electric fish, piranha and other unusual freshwater life are also displayed here. The third exhibit is Cold Water Quest, featuring polar region animals, and it contains most of the mammals in the aquarium collection. Ocean voyager is the fourth exhibit, and it contains most of the aquarium water, with 100,000 fish. It features the aquatic life of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System. The sea life in the Atlanta aquarium takes an artistic turn with the final exhibit, the Tropical Diver. It features haunting and curious aquatic life forms, including a live coral with a living reef.
