Professional Street Car Racing is one of the major extreme sports in America and Europe. The sport involves the production and development of exquisite cars, which are used for Drag, Drift and other races. Many regions in these countries have legally banned these sports, since life is at risk and the games are labeled ‘fatal and hazardous’ to life and property.
Tokyo Drift - The Fast And The Furious 3: Tokyo Drift was released in October 2006. It is the second sequel to the famous movie ‘The Fast and the Furious’. After the original film and its sequel were hits at the box-office, the producers decided to work on a new film, with an entirely new star-cast and at a different location. The storyline flaunts Sean Boswell, a loner at school. His only interaction with the unsympathetic world is through the illegal streetcar racing. His hobby makes him out of favor with the local authorities. To avoid jail, Sean is sent out of the country to his father. He is then housed in a cramped apartment in downtown Tokyo. In the land that resurrected modern day racing, drift racing has replaced the simple street race. It is a deadly combination of brutal speed on heart stopping courses, with hair-raising turns and switchbacks. On his first unpleasant outing, Sean unintentionally takes on D.K., the existing ‘Drift King’ and loses. The Drift King happens to be related to the Japanese mafia ‘Yakuza’. The only means for him to pay off his debt involves venturing into the deadly realm of the Tokyo underworld, where the only stakes are ‘life and death’.
Using the latest and advanced technology, most of the drift racing observed in the movie is edited and digitally programmed. For some of the stunts and the overall appearance, the actors underwent intensive training and make-up sessions.
The Fast And The Furious: The Fast and the Furious was the first movie of the series. Paul Walker plays an undercover police officer. He falls in love with Domenic's younger sister played by Jordana Brewster. The film is a powerhouse of intense stunts and races.
Sound Track Of Tokyo Drift: The Teriyaki Boys, a hip-hop band from Yokohama, Japan, composed the sound track. They have received international fame and recognition for their work. Other musicians have also composed parts of the soundtrack. The lyrics are available online.
