Pet vaccination...

Pet Vaccination Schedule: The wide variety of vaccines which are available today have reduced the death and disease of pets to a great extent. The vaccines are effective and trigger protective immune responses in pets. Normally, very young puppies and kittens are highly susceptible to infectious diseases. To provide optimal protection for the pets against the diseases, a series of vaccinations must be scheduled starting from 5-6 weeks after their births. The final vaccination for the pets in the series administered will be when they are 12 to 16 weeks old. It is also not necessary to vaccinate the pets with all the vaccines just because they are available. But core vaccines are must for most of the pets and non-core vaccines are based on unique needs. It is always better to discuss with a veterinarian about the kind of vaccines required for a specific pet.
