Live Reptile: Snake It’s cool to own a snake – that’s what the average human psyche thinks for it is the ultimate manifestation of taming something that’s really powerful, unpredictable and provides the ultimate chill. But the intelligent takes the thought a little further ahead, because it is them who are aware of a certain fact – with great power, comes great responsibility and it goes beyond just impressing or shocking people. And those who loathe the very mention of the animal, for them, they are far from being dangerous, slimy creatures unless provoked badly.

Snakes make wonderful companions; not that we would like to vouch for a fanged King Cobra or a Black Mamba, but Boas and Pythons provide enough visual pleasure while watching it explore, eat and sleep as well as a strange, soothing effect. They teach you the virtue of patience and at the same time, the promptness that urges one to spring into action when necessary.

As a pet, the live reptile snake requires special consideration and requires timely maintenance, food or otherwise. While some are fine with dead mice, others would refuse anything that’s not live. Being amazingly strong, wrapping them around for showing off can be deadly; if it decides to tighten its grip (especially when hungry), that’s the end of it all. So unless a person is qualified or caring, owning a snake is just slipping into the noose out of one’s own intentions.

Live Reptile for Sale: The list is quite a long one; however, broader categorization places all the live reptiles for sale under the heads of terrestrial and arboreal. That takes under consideration snakes, lizards, salamanders, newts, hermit crabs, Tarantulas and tortoises including turtles, but not the varieties that grow to a gigantic size upon maturity. Most of them are bought to satisfy the tastes of the owners though a section of people own them for participating in shows. Therefore, if it’s only for personal pleasures, among the snakes, the Ball Python, Boa Constrictor and the King Snakes make the best choices. Burmese Pythons, however attractive they are, attain a length of 20 feet or so upon maturity, so stay away from them even if the pet seller tries to sweet talk you into buying one.

Live Reptile Food: Reptiles became carnivores and herbivores through biological adaptation; it is also their individual characteristics that built them for their diet. Most reptiles eat other animals; thus live reptile food consists of rats and mice to crickets, cockroaches and earthworms for carnivores and vegetables and leaves to the herbivores, apart from the commercially available synthetic ones.
