Italian mastiff: The real Bull Fighter Being born and grown to the wild state, the herds had the risk of facing dangerous wild animals. Thus, to control and protect the cattle, the Italian Mastiff was appointed; it was also an instrument to control the bull by grabbing it on the nose with an iron grip that rendered the animals immobile due to the pain caused to the sensitive part.
