Husky: Name of the Siberian dog The term husky or the miss spelt version f the term Husky stands for a general term for those breeds of dogs that are used to drive sleds. The name has been given as because of their stamina and strength. The Siberian variety of a husky is a working dog that originated in the eastern part of Siberia. It has a height of about 51 to 60 cms. The dogs of this breed are very resilient and are well known for their innate capacity to survive the frigid atmosphere of the Arctic.
The dogs of this particular breed have two layers of protective fur coats to combat the severity of the weather conditions. These have a variety of colors and a range of patterns. The paws and the legs are usually white, have facial markings and their tails are tipped. The colors in which they are found are grey and white, black and white, pure white, copper-red and white. They are quite similar to that of wolves in relation to their physical structures but they have less amount of fur and they are also much smaller. Their eyes are blue, hazel or brown in color though there are rare and “bi-eyed” varieties also available.
The Siberian husky has a gentle nature and it is a hard working dog. These have an independent spirit, are gentle and warm. They get on well with children and they are pleasure to be around. They quickly adapt to the home environment and they are quite pleasant to strangers.

The Maltese requires a good amount of professional care so that the fur remains as silky and nice as before. It is a good choice for one who is looking for a companion who is affectionate. It is small in size but will stand up to protect the master if the need so arises. But these dogs are prone to sunburns, respiratory, tooth and eye problems. They also might face discomfort during the hot and dry season. One should be able to take good care of it so that it is able to keep looking nice and elegant.
