Golden labrador

Golden Labrador retriever: The Golden Labrador retriever is a cross between a Labrador retriever and Golden Retriever. Although it is not a purebred dog, the American Canine Hybrid Club (ACHC) has recognized this hybrid cross. Having a combination of various bloodlines, crosses are generally devoid of hereditary defects, hence they are often much hardier than purebreds. Sharing the characteristics of Labradors, the Golden retriever is intelligent and obedient, and can be trained easily. They make very good watchdogs, hunting dogs and household pets. Being a retriever mix, their coat ranges from a light yellow shade to a rich golden color. The Golden Labrador retriever is less aggressive and a more protective breed. The Golden Labrador puppies of yellow retriever mix are also good-natured and friendly.
Golden Labrador puppy: The Golden Labrador puppy is very loving and playful, and is considered the perfect canine companion for humans. This retriever cross carries the intelligence and ‘eager to please’ attitude characterized by all Golden Labrador breeds. Their intelligence makes them quick learners; hence, they are easy to train. A Golden Labrador puppy grows into a sharp and lively dog, and can even become a good service dog. Furthermore, not only are they ideal family companions, but they can also be taught to become excellent rescue dogs. Once they attain their full size, they display the magnificent build of Labrador retrievers, which gives them the stamina and alertness they are known for. Their soft golden coat is not only beautiful, but also makes them one of the most sought after Labrador breeds. The Golden Labrador puppy’s ability to adapt, and their positive response to training, makes it easy for them to be trained according to specific requirements of their owners.
Golden Labrador retriever mix: Six main retriever breeds have been identified throughout the history of this breed. Amongst them, the Golden retriever, the Labrador retriever and the Flat coated retriever are the best known. The origin of Golden Retrievers can be traced back to England. Lord Tweedmouth is said to have created this breed by breeding a yellow retriever to a water spaniel from Tweed. Active and strong, Golden retrievers are medium-sized dogs which were formerly used as hunting dogs. While Golden retrievers were in evidence in America and Canada as far back as the 1890’s, it was shown in England for the first time in 1908.
However, the Labrador retriever’s roots are found in Newfoundland, Canada. Some are of the opinion that this breed was developed from the hybridization of several breeds like the St. Hubert’s Hound, the Portuguese water dog and various Pointer breeds. The fishermen of Newfoundland used Labradors to retrieve their catch and their nets from the sea. The American Kennel Club first registered the Labrador retriever as a distinct retriever breed in 1917.
