Saturn convertible...
Saturn Convertible 2006: The Saturn convertible comes with a 170-hp, 2.4-Liter, 4-cylinder Ecotec engine with Variable Valve Timing (VVT). The engine is designed to deliver 90% of its 162 lbs of torque. By modifying the timing between the intake and exhaust valves, VVT helps the convertible to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in a mere 7.2 seconds. The chassis is made of steel and aluminum based on the strength to weight ratio principle, which is responsible for shaping an agile and responsive car. For extra rigidity, the Sky has been developed with full-length, hydro-formed longitudinal rails, and a closed section tunnel structure. The rear wheel drive comes with a limited-slip differential, and maintains the best possible traction under any given road condition. A forged aluminum Short-Long Arm (SLA) suspension and coil cover Bilstein monotube shock absorbers in the 2006 model, which enables well-tuned handling and confidence inspiring control. The exterior design is complete with 18-inch alloy wheels, which are fitted with custom made, high performance Goodyear™ tires. The Saturn 2006 convertible top is made of cloth and is manually operated. It folds way completely into the trunk, therefore giving a clean look to the car. However, the car has a glass rear window, specifically designed for rainy days.

The variable valve timing enables the Convertible to maximize the available horsepower at all engine speeds. The Sky has a 5-speed manual transmission with a short-throw shifter mechanism that enables quicker switching between gears. The steering mechanism is hydraulic power assisted, which provides the user a smooth and controlled ride.
The Saturn’s remote permits the driver to adjust the steering column, windows and exterior mirrors, according to the requirement. The car comes with a built-in CD player, MP3 and XM radio availability. The 2007 car can also be equipped with a 225-watt, seven-speaker Monsoon system with six-disc CD/MP3 player and higher frequency XM satellite Radio on demand.
