Chrysler Sebring Convertible: The Sebring convertible was developed in 1996 and is one of America's most popular convertibles. It offers quality performance that makes it a pleasure to drive the automobile. The designer hood helps to adapt to ‘any weather driving’.

In 2001, a classy, more conservative body kit was designed for the convertible. The blueprint was similar to that of the Chrysler Cirrus. The convertible was made spacious and convenient for carrying luggage. The Chrysler convertible has retained this elegant style, in spite of being in its third year of production.

Chrysler convertible 2007: The 2007 Chrysler Sebring convertible maintains the impetus of the Chrysler 300, successfully sustained by the Chrysler Dodge Caliber. Inspired by the 2003 Chrysler Airflite concept vehicle, the exterior features of the Chrysler vehicle have been the result of the experiments on the stylish design. The sophistication that has been a part of the Chrysler’s overall development reveals the Chrysler Company’s theme of being expressive, refined, athletic and passionate.

The 2007 Chrysler is powered by three engines, a 2.4-liter four-cylinder World Engine, a 2.7-liter V-6 engine and the 3.5-liter V-6 engine, paired with a new six-speed automatic transaxle. This new six-speed automatic transaxle provides quicker acceleration than a four or five speed transaxle, since it has a numerically higher first gear ratio.

Sebring's standard 2.4-liter World Engine is provided with the dual variable valve timing or a VVT. The engine is coupled with a four-speed automatic transaxle. The engine offers a 13 percent increase in horsepower and 4 percent improvement in fuel economy. The enhanced 2.7-liter V-6 engine offers performance-conscious consumers the power of a V-6 engine. This engine produces 190 horsepower and 190-lb/ ft of torque.
Chrysler Sebring is also available with a 3.5-liter V-6 engines that produces 235 horsepower. The combination of the upgraded 3.5L V6 engine and six-speed automatic transaxle, delivers fuel efficiency and a well-tuned performance. In addition to engine quality, Chrysler includes a number of safety measures installed.

Safety air bags: The air bags offer immediate occupant protection by the corresponding air bag output to deal with crash severity.

Traction Control: This feature assists in maintaining vehicle stability, by aiding throttle control to manage over steer, under steer and to maintain traction during acceleration, on slippery surfaces.

Anti-lock Brake System: The system prevents wheel lockup, thus improving steering control under extreme braking, in slippery conditions.

UConnect™ Hands-free Communication System: This feature uses the Blue-tooth technology to make available wireless communication between the drivers cell phone and the vehicle's onboard receiver. The hands-free option promotes safety, freedom, value and flexibility.

Chrysler convertible 2004: The Chrysler Company, in 2004, improved the front styling of the convertibles though the coupes remain unchanged. All Sebring convertibles in 2004 offered 4 and 6 cylinder engines. The convertibles are standard, with automatic transmission and manual transmission still available in the GTC convertible. Chrysler's Auto-Stick automatic transmission, with manual shift gate, is made available only with the high profile coupes and convertibles. In 2005, LX and LXi convertible model names were changed to ‘Base’ and ‘Tour’, respectively. The 2004 convertible had no side airbags. ABS and traction control are standard on the Limited convertible and optional on all other Sebring automobiles.

Chrysler convertible 2002: Chrysler convertible 2002 was the first upgrade to the initial 2001 model. It involved small modifications like the 3 or 4 cylinder and a four speed automatic transaxle.
