Tokyo Mew Episode: Tokyo Mew Mew is often referred to as ‘Mew Mew Power’. It is an animated series created by the illustrator Mia Ikumi and writer Reiko Yoshida. It is the manga series published in the monthly manga magazine, in 2001. An English translation of this popular series was published by TOKYOPOP, in North America. The animated series of the Tokyo Mew episodes was developed in Studio Pierrot and was aired on TV Aichi in Japan. It was licensed in North America by 4Kids Entertainment as ‘Mew Mew Power’. It is based on the story of five girls, namely, Ichigo Momomiya, Mint Aizawa, Pudding Fong, Lttuce Midorikawa and Zakuro Fujiwara. They are supposed to have their DNA infused with the DNA of some endangered species, in a highly mysterious way. Consequently, they gain special abilities and unusual appearances. In course of time, they came to know that they have been chosen to protect planet Earth from a group of aliens, who want to reclaim it. Besides this mission, the girls are also required to work at the Café Mew Mew, as waitresses. The café is supposed to be the secret headquarters of Tokyo Mew Mew, owned by Ryou Shirogane and Keiichiro Akasaka.

The Tokyo Mew Mew episodes become all the more interesting with the mounting difficulties of Ichigo, since she is mainly responsible for managing the café, while trying to figure out the culmination of her crush on Masaya. She finds out that he also likes her and they get married in the final episode.
