“The story of the Hell's Angels Motorcycle Club is the story of a very select brotherhood of man who will fight and die for each other, no matter what the cause." This is a quote from his book, which says it all about the world-renowned club. The Hells Angels club members are a close-knit family, and their admission is a long process based on several evaluations and tests, to prove their sworn loyalty to the club. Their intrepid attitude and gang-like status has aroused interest all over the world. One such motion picture is the action packed drama Hells Angels on Wheels (1967), with Jack Nicholson and members of the Oakland Hells Angels.
Hells Angels Motorcycle Club (HAMC) call themselves the world’s oldest and largest original “1 % motorcycle club”, because they set themselves apart from the rest of the 99%. The symbol of the Hell's Angels motorcycle club is an Air Force-like patch, containing a skull with an aviator's cap, set inside a set of wings. The Hells Angels Club owns it exclusively, and only members can wear it. They have a tradition of going on a large bike parade whenever a member dies, to show their solidarity to each other. Their motto is to have fun on your bike in a safe manner.
Club members help each other to repair their motorcycles, find convenient routes to take, and even recommend restaurants that cater to bikers. The knowledge of the motorcycle club members is extraordinary, and you can rest assured they will guide you to places where you will find the least expensive parts, great destinations, and best hotels.
The HAMC organizes a number of motorcycle runs all over the world, in which thousands of members participate. They advertise their club gear and logos, so that supporters can buy them, where you can get Hells Angels T-shirts, helmets, coffee mugs, stickers etc. They also organize bike shows all over the world, where one can see their splendid bikes on display.
The motion picture Hell’s Angels: The club derives its name from Howard Hughes’ motion picture, Hell's Angels. The motion picture, Hell’s Angels is a story of two brothers who enlist themselves in the Royal Air Force during the First World War. It was the sheer daredevil feats and pluck of the pilots of the 303rd Bombardment Group “Hell’s Angels”, which has inspired the Hells Angels club and its members.
Hells Angels Chapters in Canada: In Canada, the Hells Angels motorcycle club has chapters in Ontario and Quebec and 30 other places. As many as ten to twelve chapters are present in Ontario itself.
